How long does nail polish last?
When stored properly (tightly capped, away from heat and direct sunlight), nail polish can last for years. Because our polishes are handcrafted and highly pigmented, some settling or thickening over time is normal.
My polish seems thick—did it go bad?
Not at all. Polish can thicken as solvents slowly evaporate. A few drops of nail polish thinner (not remover) can help restore the original consistency.
How should I store my polish?
Store bottles upright in a cool, dry place away from heat and direct sunlight. Always cap tightly after use to prevent evaporation and spills.

- Avoid leaving bottles open during application.
- If polish thickens over time, use a few drops of nail polish thinner to restore flow.
Why does my polish look different than the photos?
We do our best to represent colors accurately, but lighting, screens, and skin tone can affect how shades appear in real life. Because our polishes are handcrafted in small batches, very slight variations can occur.
Do I need to shake or roll the bottle before use?
Yes—pigments and shimmer can settle over time. Gently roll the bottle between your hands before application to remix the formula smoothly.
Why does my polish separate or look settled in the bottle?
This is normal for highly pigmented and shimmer-heavy formulas, especially in handmade polish. It does not affect performance once mixed.
